Christmas in July

I know it is summer. But I am already trying to decide what I will be making this year for the holidays. These are a few things I made last year. i am hoping once I look at them again I may be inspired to make new things this year. Or maybe inspire you for your upcoming holiday projects.

I love how my cards turned out. I used the CTMH stamp set, Tropical Christmas. It worked out perfect because last year we moved to AZ. So everyone teased us that we wouldn't know what Christmas was like anymore because it would be so warm. So I played off of that with my cards.

I also used the Tropical Christmas set to make little Tic-Tac cards. I used these as gift tags for so many people. They were so fun to make. last year I saw many girls use this idea with a snowman on the front and whit tic tacs. I am sure there are hundereds of ways to used this little tag.

My memo boards were such a hit last year. I already have requests from friends to make more this year. I did holiday card holders as well as personalized memo boards. They were fun to make, fairly simple, and everyone loved them.

Photo Wallets

I made these quite a while ago. But I was on the CTMH board and saw one made by another consultant and I had to post mine. I think I may make some more now seeing someone elses, she gave me new inspiration! :)

Popcicle

This is a card that was made by a woman named Lynn. Her blog is listed in my blogroll. It was such a cute card, I had to make one of my own. I think this is going to be sent to my niece for her 5th birthday.

Anniversary Card

My husband and I will be celebrating our 8th wedding Anniversary next month. I am waiting on NFL tickets I ordered for him to place inside this card. They will slide under the green tab on the tag. Then the tag will slide into the pocket. I just used CTMH paper I had on hand. It turned out better then I had expected. I started it with no real plan other then making the tickets fit inside the card somehow, and be hidden when you first open the card. I think he will be pleasantly surprised!

School Binder

My daughter is going into first grade in a couple weeks. She begged for a binder this year. Apparently it's the cool thing once you are out of kindergarten lol So we decided to have fun with it. Today she picked out pictures and we made scrapbook pages to slide in the clear sleeves of the binder. She LOVES it.
We used fluorescent papers bought at craft store.
The stamps are all CTMH - Giggle Caps, Flutter, and Beatlebugs
CTMH Inks - Bubblegum, Spring Iris, Orange, Ocean, and Citrus Leaf

Favorite Thing Challege

A website I that visit does a challenge every two weeks. Yesterdays was "One of your favorite things". It couldn't be a person, a pet, and not something that is a favorite of your family, just something that is truly you. So I picked my favorite antique tea set.
The journaling says:

"An addiction that started with my mom!And I hope I can pass it on to my kids!"

"My mom collects Dragonware. She has my entire life. Mom has a black set and a blue set. This is the beginings of my lavender set. I love hunting the internet and antique stores for matching pieces! I can not wait for the day that I have a complete set!"

Brasstown Bald

This spring my family and I went to GA to visit family. While there we visited Brasstown Bald, the highest peak in Ga you can see 4 states from the look out. The area is so pretty. I had to do a layout for it.

Her Sunny Skies

This is a page I made for my daughter's scrapbook. These are some pictures we had done for her 3rd birthday. I love how this page turned out!

The journaling says:
Heart on her lips
And soul in her eyes
Soft as her clime and sunny as her skies
